Your membership fee covers annual membership of AAAHP.
a. Payment online: To become a member online you must pay for your membership via STRIPE, or Direct deposit. New Memberships are charged at a Pro rata rate and are required to renew their membership on the 1st of July each year at the Full listed rate.
Any member who fails to notify the registrar of their intention not to renew in a financial year will be charged a $20 levy should they renew their membership in subsequent years.
You can register with AAAHP by completing the online application form and making payment or emailing the listed Membership form to the AAAHP registrar. All these applications will be notified of payment options.
You can cancel your membership at any time. To the extent permitted by the applicable law, payments are non-refundable, and we do not provide refunds or credits for any partial membership periods. To cancel, defer or make alterations to your membership, please contact AAAHP. Contact details appear at the end of this notice. Please note we require five days’ notice to process any adjustments.
Only the named member in writing by the named member may request a change in membership details. 7. Membership verification: All members are issued with a unique membership number. Full Members, Student Members, Life Members are entitled to attend and vote at AAAHP General Meetings. For further information about your voting rights as a AAAHP member please refer to the constitution.
General Meetings are held annually, with Extraordinary General Meetings called as required under the constitution.Notices to members of these meetings will be provided in writing no less
than 21 days before the meeting. Please refer to the constitution for further details.
This Society along with Australia and New Zealand College of Anaesthetist’s Professional Standard Statement PS08 ‘Assistant to the Anaesthetist’ requires ongoing maintenance of professional knowledge and skills.This may be achieved through self directed learning, accredited course, attendance at in-services, conferences and/or seminars, development and presentation of in-services and talks.CPD will be audited randomly on a yearly basis to ensure that current CPD hours are being obtained. All members are required to accrue 20 hours CPD a year. Accrual of CPD falls on registration date, not calendar year.
